There is something for everyone to enjoy, whether you have a toddler or teen, or whether you prefer heading outdoors or staying inside.

St. Lucie County Skate Park

Skateboard or inline skate at this park that features fun and challenging obstacles. Skaters can purchase a daily pass for $6 or acquire an inexpensive annual skate card. Please note that skaters under 18 must have a parent-signed waiver on file with St. Lucie County to obtain a skate card.

Skate City at Whispering Pines Park

Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Explore Nature

Avalon State Park

Fort Pierce Inlet State Park

Enjoy the beautiful beach and activities such as surfing, fishing, and hiking. The park is open every day from 8 am until sundown, and the entrance cost is $6 per vehicle. 


Heathcote Botanical Gardens

You'll encounter a Japanese Garden, Reflection Garden, Native Plants Garden and more on a stroll through the grounds. 


Oxbow Eco-Center

Hike through the trails of this free nature preserve and check out their educational learning center and programming. 


Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens

Savannas Preserve State Park

Learn About, Observe & Interact with Animals

Eastside Acres Ranch

Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute

Manatee Observation and Education Center

Fountains at MIDFLORIDA Event Center

Kids will enjoy splashing in these interactive fountains. There are benches surrounding the fountains, and a restroom is available. Please be aware that the fountain area is not shaded. 


Fountains at Tradition

These fountains are located in Tradition Square, which is surrounded by shops and restaurants. They are open daily from 10 am - 10 pm and have on-site picnic tables with umbrellas and restrooms. 


Lakewood Park Pool

Families will enjoy this community zero-entry pool with a splash pad area. Please check for seasonal hours before heading out. 


Pioneer Park

This free public park is worth a visit! The large park features many fun play areas, one of them being an interactive splash pad area. The splash pad is open from 9 am to dusk, and the park is open until 9 pm. 


Ravenswood Pool

Take a swim at this community pool that includes a large splash pad area. Please check for seasonal hours before heading out.

Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers Market

Hallstrom Planetarium

This planetarium is run by Indian River State College. It features educational astronomy shows, including monthly Kid Space shows specifically designed for ages 4 - 12. Purchase advance tickets online.

Navy SEAL Museum

This museum is located on the training grounds of the original Navy combat divers, the Frogmen. Learn about the Navy SEALs through interactive exhibits, test your skills on the obstacle course, and honor the fallen at the Navy SEAL Memorial. 


Tradition Neighborhood Market

This outdoor market in Tradition Square is year-round on Sundays from 9 am - 2 pm. You'll find a variety of vendors and oftentimes a fun activity for the kids such as a bubble truck or bounce house. 


St. Lucie County Libraries

Check out what our local libraries have to offer! The Susan Broom Kilmer, Zora Neal Hurston, and Lakewood Park libraries are in Fort Pierce. The Paula A. Lewis, Morningside, and Port St. Lucie libraries are in Port St. Lucie, along with the Pruitt Campus Library, a joint-use library between St. Lucie County and Indian River State College.
